Citz Autumn Season on Sale Now

The Citizens' autumn season 2008 is on sale now and features a veritable smorgasbord of work, kicking off with our regular "Audience With" series. Our week long look at some fascinating lives, this year includes climber extraordinaire - Sir Chris Bonnington, Politician and Orator - Tony Benn (almost sold out), football legend - Tommy Docherty, Snooker funnyman - Dennis Taylor and distinguished actor - Brian Blessed.

Later in September the Citizens' own productions commence as we present a contemporary twist on an old legend with DON JUAN, hotly followed by Harold Pinter's brutally funny THE CARETAKER. The Young Co. will present their own REFLECTIONS ON THE RIVER and the Community Company return with the irreverent WICKED CHRISTMAS 3.

Tickets are already selling well for the annual Christmas show. Family favourite, THE WIZARD OF OZ will provide the perfect winter tonic with a good dose of much-loved songs from the MGM musical.

Visiting company highlights include Birds of Paradise with Offshore a new play by Alan Wilkins; two rarely performed Tenessee Williams plays from Glasgay!, The Parade and And Tell Sad Stories of the Death of Queens; and Follow Me a multi-award winning production about Ruth Ellis, the last woman in England to be hanged. For young people we have Thingumajig's A November Day.

We look forward to welcoming you through the doors for a brilliant autumn season 2008.
